This is the month! We’ll mail out the ballots and the fate of the chapter is in your hands.

We’ve advised, begged, cajoled (don’t you just love that word) and demanded that you mark your ballot and send it back. Now, it’s all in your hands, the ballots go out on the 17th of August and have to be back in the office by the 7th of September. The counting is on the 8th and everyone’s invited to brunch at the IHOP to witness it. So, c’mon, guys and gals, do your thing!! I don’t really want to nag (the lil’ voice in the back of my head says ‘ yeah, you do’) but I can’t believe how much I have to mention this, it seems to get worse every year. No one cares enough to mark a ballot and send it back, and that can be done without leaving the house. I guess I’m getting a feel for why there’s such a bad turnout in a government election. I dare you to prove me wrong!!

Seems like every month for the past year something has been happening here at the chapter that’s worth special mention. We had special Outreach events, proclamation days, some of our members were invited or voted to serve on Boards and Committees related to our issues, we entertained our Chapter Liaison Vice President and the US Military 9.
