There is no way I can express my gratitude. We had more ballots returned than ever before. A little voice in the back of my head is saying, ’See, all the nagging paid off’. But, I choose to believe that we’re such a vibrant, moving organization that you’re proud to take part. Enough said, except for a sincere thank you from myself and all the Board. We feel great when we know you care enough to send your ballot. AND, the outpouring of funds for Soldier’s Overseas Holiday was great! Thank you! There will be a lot of happy military over Christmas. Well, as happy as they can be when they’re away from home.

The car show is coming!! We weren’t keeping it under wraps, it’s just that it was so touch and go for awhile that we weren’t sure it was going to happen. This really nice guy from Deltona came to us with the idea a few months ago. He’s doing it all by himself. And what a job! He’s lined up the park and the vendors and some sponsors and made (yes, made!) trophies as prizes. I’m amazed that a nice healthy young man would think so highly of our organization that he would do this. So, get out there! All we ask is your attendance (it’s free) at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary on October 23rd between 9 AM & 3 PM.

There’ll be food (not free), cars and cycles to admire, judging at 11 AM, awards given at 3 PM. For more details, call Steve, my expertise with cars stops at driving and pumping gas. But, I’ll be there, asking dumb automotive questions and acting as if I understand the answers. So much news this month, so little space.
