Orlando VA Selects New Chief

Steve Sabol was selected as the new chief of police July 31. Chief Sabol came to the Orlando VA from the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where he was the Chief of Police.

He stated “It is an honor to be selected as the chief of police for the corporate Orlando VA Medical Center!” He went on to say that this is an outstanding opportunity for him and his family. “We love Florida and the challenges of opening a brand new state-of-the-art medical center.” “In my new position, I will continue to lead, challenge, and develop!”

The Orlando VA Medical Center Police Service has 43 officers and support staff on its roster and now one of them is the chief of police.
