Florida
Disabled Anglers last bass tournament of the year on the Clermont Chain of lakes
was held Nov. 6 with nine boaters and nine disabled anglers. It was tough with
20 plus miles per hour winds and cool temps. This did not stop Jerry Daniels
from taking first with a limit weighing 3.42 lbs. The boat captains division
was won by Jessy Rudolph with 3 bass weighing 11.46, but one of hose was a monster
weighing 9.66 lbs which was big bass for the year..
So
ends the last event for the year for the FDA. With a total of 17 disabled anglers
fishing during the year and 21 boat Captains donating their time and equipment
to make this a most successful year for the FDA crew.
The
Anglers of the Year are Boat Captain George Wilbanks and a tie in the Disabled
Division between Kris Carver and Ken Carter.
We are looking at the Saturday the 7th or 14th of January 2012 to have the annual
meeting with election of officers and the dates and lakes for the 2012 FDA Tournament
trail.
The meeting will be here at the Central Florida PVA offices and dinner would be provided.
Tony Choe did a great job of representing PVA and all the disabled anglers at
the BASS Federation Championship, He may not of won his division we are all
proud of the effort he gave.
